Nissan partnered with Premcar, the same Australian engineering company behind the highly regarded Navara Warrior program, to develop and quality assure an available locally tuned suspension package for Australian and New Zealand conditions.

The objective was to deliver a Navara that's comfortable and composed in everyday driving while still being able to deal with the conditions Australian ute owners actually encounter.

SUPER 4WD

This is where the new Navara becomes seriously interesting.

The PRO-4X comes standard with Nissan's advanced Super 4WD system.

You still have the genuine low-range four-wheel-drive capability expected from a proper Navara.

But Super 4WD adds a full-time high-range 4WD mode, selectable at speeds up to 100km/h.

That means four-wheel-drive capability isn't reserved solely for the moment you hit the dirt.

It provides another option when you're dealing with changing or slippery road conditions.

There's also a Torsen Limited Slip Centre Differential working to optimise torque distribution.

And when things get genuinely difficult?

You've still got low range and an electronic rear differential lock ready to go.

SEVEN TERRAIN MODES

Then Nissan adds the Terrain Mode Selector.

You have seven selectable modes:

Eco.

Gravel.

Snow.

Select what you're driving on and the Navara can adjust vehicle characteristics to better suit the conditions.
